5/6 In the morning, as I went swimming, I again parked my Jeep next to the other two Jeeps which are often there at that time, and which always park in such a way that you can see them as a pair from afar across the whole parking lot. One of them white and electric, the other yellow with a fierce black snout. When I came back after swimming, the two Jeeps were, unusually, still there, and I took a closer look at them. Among all the other ducks on the dashboards there was, in both Jeeps, in a prominent spot, a Trump duck, and it didn’t look like there was anything ironic to it. I was deeply disturbed by that. I had just finished my walk around the two Jeeps when their owners returned, a seemingly nice, young couple in their late twenties or early thirties. – I wouldn’t want to argue with them. I do not know a single Trump voter. I seriously want to know what they think.
