9/19 My driving test, which I had to cancel due to Vermont, is now on Tuesday, finally. I spend much of the day practicing parallel parking, again and again. My parallel parking is okay, but in this test it needs to be close to perfect, with only one attempt, in a state of stress. I will practice a few hours, every day, from now until Tuesday. – You’d think nothing could be more rigorous than a German driving test, which I passed forty years ago, but you’d be wrong. The failure rate in the state of New York is higher than in Germany.
