5/28 At about 2.40am a truck honks on Broadway, right in the center of a solemn gathering of high-rises with thousands of dark windows. It is an ear-splitting, persistent honk, dragging me up all the way from deep sleep, as my sleep graph will later show. It must have been that for thousands of sleepers. The rest of the night is wrecked, not entirely, but enough to end in a sobering sleep score in the morning and a tough next day.
