5/27 It’s been a few days since J’s phone suddenly had a thick, blindingly bright vertical line on its screen. It was the weekend, and we were upstate, so no immediate chance to get it fixed. By yesterday, she seemed to have gotten used to it. It was just that I couldn’t handle it. I had to make an appointment for her phone today to get the screen replaced, simply because I couldn’t stand the thought of her having to look at that blindingly bright, thick line.
