November 5. What I read in Ezra Klein’s book is not new to me, but here it hits me again with full force: How our seemingly rational thinking only serves to confirm what group we belong to. It is much more important to belong to the right people than to come to the right conclusions. And that’s not just an accident that happens sometimes to some, but it’s always, for everyone. – I don’t know where to go with this mistrust of myself. I have this and that conviction, but I wouldn’t advise you to give much about it.
