July 11. I hadn’t been to the optometrist in five years. The eye doctor at the store was very angry with me. She wanted me to take out my lenses and throw them away immediately because they had been in use too long. Instead, she gave me different ones, oddly shaped and shimmery, and now I don’t need reading glasses anymore. I can’t believe this at all. I didn’t know such lenses existed.
