September 3, Meacham Lake, Adirondacks. Hammocks strung, fire in the fire pit. Tall tree columns overhead, patchy canopy. Getting from the fire to the hammocks hanging over there in the dark will require technology. I am insanely looking forward to the first night in the hammock.
