August 22. It’s just such a common fault line in biographies of the 21st century. Went back to Sweden with the children in 2021. Hardly a footnote.

Realized too late that I must not burden the children with my adult feelings. They live in Sweden now, they can’t change that, and I have to make it as easy for them as possible.

I may have to move away from here because I can’t stand the memories every step of the way.
