July 15. At my checkup, I was vaccinated against shingles. It is caused by chicken pox viruses that have been sleeping in the body since childhood. It puzzles me that there is such a thing as viruses sleeping in my body for decades. Where exactly are they sleeping? I thought I was simpler.
