June 16. Our last full day here. So far, every day has been completely unpredictable and brought memorable things, for example, last night at the BBQ restaurant when the staff suddenly folded up the umbrellas in a flash because in two minutes it would hurricane the hell out of here – you can never predict longer than that – and we should urgently move inside to the bar.
As a kid, I counted the days on vacation and wondered if half was up already. But I can’t remember whether I’d rather stay or whether I’d rather finally go home again, probably sometimes this and sometimes that.
